Earl Schnepp

DEXTER — A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Dexter for Earl Fred Schnepp of Dexter, who died Jan. 24 of age-related causes. He was 91.

He was born Feb. 21, 1917 in Union Township, Pa., to Fred and Bertha Songer Schnepp. He was married to Alberta Haag Schnepp for 49 years. He had been married to Alice Jones for nine years.

Schnepp served in the military in World War II in Normandy, France and Berlin. He worked as a mechanic for a service station. He owned and operated a sawmill and a car wash and was a truck driver and owner.

He is survived by his wife.

Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Brookville, Pa. Arrangements by Andreason’s Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield.
