Anthony Gierke

SPRINGFIELD — Anthony B. Gierke of Springfield died March 12 of cancer. He was 66. A private family memorial service is planned.

He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in England to William and Daisy Woodhouse Gierke. He married LaDonn Jarrett in Portland.

Gierke was a tanker truck driver for Tyree Oil.

Survivors include three sons, Duane Lively, Kevin Lively and Mike Lively, all of Springfield; a daughter, Darla Lively of Springfield; two siblings, Sylvia Svenson of Montana and Albert Ernest of England; and four grandchildren. His wife died Feb. 11, 2008.
