Duane Rydstedt

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. April 2 at Eugene Faith Center for Duane Garth Rydstedt of Eugene. He died March 19 of pancreatic cancer at age 53.

He was born July 22, 1955, in Spring- field, Mo., to Dorthia Le-Grande and Bob Rydstedt. He married Sherry Snow on April 24, 2004, in Eugene.

Rydstedt held an associate’s degree in broadcasting from Lane Community College. He worked for Willamalane Park and Recreation District in Springfield.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sarah Ryd­stedt and Ciera Snow, both of Eugene; three sons, David Rydstedt, Stephen Rydstedt and Sean Snow, all of Eugene; a brother, Daniel of Springfield, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
