Elizabeth Norris

Mary Elizabeth Norris passed away April 25, 2009 in Eugene.  She was 94.

Mrs. Norris was born June 17, 1914 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to William Almond Hemenway and Ora Elizabeth Read Hemenway.  She married William F. Norris in Cottage Grove on November 19, 1939.

Mrs. Norris was a registered nurse and had worked for 25 years at Ivorena Care Center in Eugene.  She was a member of First Christian Church of Springfield and a life member of Blue River Chapter #158 of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family gatherings.

Bill died June 22, 1980.

She is survived by her son, Paul Norris of Keizer, OR.
