Robert Kyle

COTTAGE GROVE — A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Cottage Grove Bible Church for Robert Benjamin “Bob” Kyle of Cottage Grove, who died April 4 after a heart attack. He was 68. A reception will follow at the church.

He was born July 3, 1940, in Pueblo, Colo., to Robert and Emma Acuff Kyle. He married Catherine Lobeda on Jan. 29, 1966, in Pueblo.

Kyle graduated from Central High School in Pueblo. He served in the U.S. National Guard and Army Reserves from 1964 to 1972. He was a model maker and owned Captain’s Models in Cottage Grove for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jeff and Andy, both of Cottage Grove, Robert of Tucson, Ariz., and Scott of Mesa, Ariz; a daughter, Christy Lanz of Tuscon; and seven grandchildren.
