Albert Mammel

DEXTER — A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Riverside Farms, 80932 Davisson Road in Creswell, for Albert Conard Mammel of Dexter. He died May 5 of cancer at age 51. A potluck will follow the service.

He was born March 21, 1958, in Philadelphia.

Mammel attended George High School in Newtown, Pa. He held a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Penn State University. He took computer science classes at the University of Oregon for three years and at Lane Community College for four years. He worked as a wrangler for Pruitt’s Equestrian Center for 20 years. He was a tax preparer for Bookkeepers Unlimited for five years and a truck driver for Maxi-Service for 10 years.
