I can still hear her cheery voice, I saw her last summer at a baby shower, did she tell you? I hope time is softening the pain. She was always cheerful, always ready for a good laugh. I can hear her now. She and Peter were a good team. I remember them giving me a tour of their Marcola home just after they completed it. It was a perfect 'little house in the woods.' When Anne retired, she shared her school materials with me. It was like shopping at a well-stocked teacher supply store. My daughters all had her for their math teacher and what a great math teacher she was! She will be missed but her legacy will live on in her students and you her family.
