Mary Blackwell

HARRISBURG — Mary M. Blackwell of Harrisburg died June 18 of cancer. She was 58. A private family service is planned.

She was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Bakersfield,Calif., to Hank and Dorothy Nitzel. She married Tom- my Blackwell on Oct. 31, 1979, in Charleston, S.C.

She graduated from Junction City High School in 1968 and worked as a pharmacy technician.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kim Hallmark of Eugene; a son, Mike of Eugene; two sisters, Elouise Durr of Nevada and Connie Banford of Hillsboro; a brother, Tracy Nitzel of Cheshire; and two grandchildren.
