DEXTER — Clyde Nelson Meyer of Dexter died June 27 of age-related causes. He was 77. No service is planned.

He was born March 1, 1932, in Eugene to Floyd and Vale Putnam Meyer. He married Patricia “Patti” Stallings on Jan. 30, 1953, in California.

Meyer served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1953. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in road construction for more than 30 years.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Kathy Ainsworth of Medford, Carolyn Beall of Eugene, Debbi Gillespie of Coos Bay, Virginia Bournes of Salem and Linda Ryker of Springfield; a son, Jake of Tucson, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
