Darrell Waddell

SPRINGFIELD — Darrell Waddell of Springfield died July 5 of age-related causes at age 72. No service is planned.

He was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Liberty, Ind., to Gardner and Anna Thomas Waddell. He married Betty Bentien on Sept. 3, 1966, in Reno, Nev.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Bentien of Klamath Falls; a son, Jerry Bentien of Springfield; five brothers, Garland of Connersville, Ind., Edward and Gailen, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Glendon and Ron, both of Florida; five sisters, Geneva Bane of Richmond, Ind., Juanita Barker of Ohio, Edith Roberts of Glenn, Calif., and Geraldine Breen and Faye Potter, both of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
