Kelly Carl

Kelly J. Carl of Eugene died July 4 of a bacterial infection at age 46. A private memorial service will be held later.

She was born March 4, 1963, in Minot, N.D., to Gary and Beverly Colis Ertelt.

She held an associate’s degree in nursing from Lane Community College. She worked as a registered nurse for the Oregon Endoscopy Center.

Survivors include her parents; a son, Shawn of Eugene; two daughters, Stephanie Kent and Sierra Carl, both of Eugene; two sisters, Keri Brentley and Peggy Sams, both of Eugene; and one grandchild.
