Barbara Langfield

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield, for Barbara Mignon Spencer Langfield, who died Aug. 23 at age 76.

A graveside service will be held Aug. 31, at the Turner Cemetery in Turner, Idaho.

She was born April 7, 1933, in Turner, Idaho, to Elmer and Illah (Thomas) Spencer. She married Leroy A. Skinner in 1948, and he later died. She married Mel Langfield on May 16, 1973, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She attended high school in Turner, Idaho, and worked more than 10 years as a camp host.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Reed Skinner of Oracle, Ariz., Randy Skinner of Cottonwood, Idaho, and Kevin Skinner of McKenzie River; a brother, James Spencer of Grace, Idaho; a sister, Shirley Williams of Blackfoot, Idaho; and by 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Micheal Vernon Skinner and Rodney Jaye Skinner; a grand-daughter, Randi Leanna Skinner; and her first husband died previously.
