William Phillips

William Jean Phillips was born August 22, 1926 in Aberdeen, WA to William and Ethel (Leonard) Phillips. 

Bill grew up and graduated from high school there in Aberdeen and then went into the Navy, serving in the Pacific in 1945-46.  He married Alice Bradford in North Bonneville, WA in November of 1962.  He worked as a faller in the woods, and as a tallyman for JH Baxter’s for many years.

Bill passed away August 22, 2009.  He was 83.  He is survived by loving partner Emily DelCarlo; daughter Brenda Gransbury (and her husband Michael); son Launi Phillips; son Jim Phillips (and his wife Joyce); step-son Lewis Bradford (and Herta); step-son Jim Bradford (and Kathy); step-daughter Wendy Cramer (and Mike); step-daughter Peggy Heyne (and John) and step-daughter Doris Bradford.  He also leaves behind his brother, Norman Phillips, numerous grandkids and great-grandkids and one great-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and step-daughter Judy Bradford.

Private family services will be held later.
