Roy Larson

SPRINGFIELD — Roy P. Larson of Springfield died Oct. 22 of pancreatic cancer. He was 73. No service is planned.

He was born July 9, 1936, in Portland to Oliver and Elsie Lane. He married Sharon Altig in Lincoln City in 1979.

He served 21 years in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne C. Larson of Tigard; a sister, Marine Bergmann of Rhododendron; and two grandchildren. A son, Roy Larson, and a daughter, Kimberly Larson, died previously.

Arrangements by Andreason’s Cremation and Burial Service, in Springfield.
