Dennis Chavez

Dennis Michael Chavez passed away February 7, 2010.  He was 61 years old.

Born October 8, 1948 in Glendale, California, he moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1985 with his family.

Dennis worked as a truck driver for E.C.I.U. for many years.  He loved his job.

Dennis enjoyed music and his great movie collection.  The greatest enjoyment came from his grandchildren–he was a proud “papa.”

An only child, he was preceded by his father and mother, Michale and Edith Chavez, and his grandparents, Henry and Mary Price.

His survivors include wife Nancy Chavez; daughters Monica Escalante and Toni McFadden; grandchildren Phlisha, Ashley, twins Joshua and Jordan and his latest grandchild James.

Dennis will be greatly missed and was deeply loved by all his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later time.
