Leroy Martin

Leroy N. Martin of Springfield died Jan. 30 of age-related causes. He was 76. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1933, in Baker City to Roy and Thelma Martin Hruska.

He studied computers at Lane Community College and served in the Navy from 1951 to 1956.

He was an electronics engineer in Silicon Valley and a computer networker in Oregon.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Stewart of North Dakota and Laura Graham of Springfield; two sons, Douglas of Illinois and Robert of Arizona; a sister, Betty Williamson of Idaho; a brother, Marvin Martin of Eugene; and 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Crystal Martin, died previously.

Arrangements by Andreason’s Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
