Harold Burrelle

Harold D. Burrelle of Eugene died Feb. 10 of age-related causes at age 85. No service is planned.

He was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Hillsboro to Robert and Lena Miller Burrelle. He married Josephine Collingwood on March 8, 1959, in Eugene.

He graduated from Albany High School and earned a degree from Oregon State University. He served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for Sears Roebuck for 36 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina Johnson of Eugene and Brenda Partridge of Seattle; and one brother, two sisters and four grandchildren.

Sharron Mitchell

Sharron Mitchell of Springfield died Feb. 10 at age 72. A private, family service will be held later.

She was born Dec. 2, 1937, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Truman and Darlene Hope Mitchell. She married Melvin Hills in 1957, in Las Vegas. He died in 1975.

She received a GED, and attended some college.

She worked 13 years in the food stamp division of Oregon’s Adult & Family Services.

Survivors include three daughters, Mimi Wagner and Reva Hills, both of Springfield, and Kama Heath of Sheridan; two sons, Melvin Colten Hills of Depot Bay and James Keeney of Redmond; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Delores Todd

Delores Todd of Oakridge died Jan. 31 of age-related causes. She was 71. No service is planned.

She was born June 3, 1938, in Wardville, Okla. She married Marshall Todd Dec. 27, 1979, in Reno, Nev.

She was a high school graduate, and worked as a beautician and a seamstress.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kelli Ashmore of Oakridge; a son, Alan Ashmore of Clear Lake Oaks, Calif.; four sisters, Lequita Millwood of Grants Pass, Norma Necaise of Waveland, Miss., Judith Tracy of Biloxi, Miss., and Alice Felder of Fresno, Calif.; four brothers, Leroy Rhyne of Hanford, Calif., and Maurice and Keith Ryhne, both of Creswell, and Richard Rhyne of Sanger, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Lloyd Nash

Lloyd Frederick Nash of Harrisburg died Feb. 9 of cancer. He was 85. A celebration of life will be held later.

He was born April 13, 1924, in Lawton, N.D., to George and Mary Nash.

He married Adeline Bolton Nov. 21, 1954, at Devil’s Lake, N.D.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946. He worked as a farmworker, for the U.S. Postal Service and in the wood products industry for mills including Jones Veneer, Georgia Pacific and Trus Joist.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Wendy Shaw of Eugene and Nola Nash of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Bruce of Redmond and Lee of Junction City; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Connie Larson

Connie Renee Larson of Eugene died Jan. 22 at age 39. A memorial service will be held later.

She was born Dec. 6, 1970, in Springfield, to Melvin and Alana Baker Welty. She was married, and later divorced.

She was a high school graduate and attended some college.

She worked in office billing, in the medical field.

Survivors include her mother, Alana Welty, and stepfather, Bob Augustine; two daughters, Tiffany Renee Larson of Eugene and Whitney Lea Larson of Cottage Grove; a brother, Paul Welty of Albany; and a brother, Paul Welty of Albany.

Jeffrey Prouty

A celebration of life will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at McShane’s Bar & Grill in Eugene for Jeffrey Duane Prouty of Fall Creek, who died Feb. 6 of pancreatic cancer. He was 52.

He was born Jan. 1, 1958, in Honolulu to Mel and Donna Vogler Prouty. He married Kathy Netterda on Aug. 23, 1985, in Winnemucca, Nev.

He received an associate’s degree from Blue Mountain Community College. He was a survey engineer for the state Department of Transportation and the Oregon Bridge Engineer Corps for a total of about 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; his father and stepmother, Mel and Betty Prouty; a grandmother, Hallie Goodrich; two daughters, Megan Prouty of Eugene and Emily Prouty of Fall Creek; two sons, Jeremy of Eugene and Josh of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Jody Prouty Casalenda of Eagen, Minn.; and one granddaughter.

Robert Tegge

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Fireside Room of the First Church of the Nazarene in Eugene for Robert F. “Bob” Tegge of Eugene, who died Feb. 9 of complications from diabetes. He was 76.

He was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Tacoma, Wash., to Randolph and Jeanetta Brown Tegge. He married Jo Souther in June 1956, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Navy for 14 years, stationed in Japan and San Diego, Calif.

He worked in the food service industry in Maryland, Houston, Corvallis and Eugene, and with his wife owned and operated the Burger Barn near Fern Ridge Reservoir.

Survivors include his wife; his stepmother, Marieta Tegge, a daughter, Tracy Stewart; three sons, Bob, Randy and Warren “Buster” Tegge; four sisters, Louella Hubbling, Dorothy Guthrie, Phyllis Tegge and Jeannie Jo Smith; a brother, Bob Testerman; and 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Terry Lee Tegge, and a foster son, Jim Palamidy, died previously.

John Witthar

John Witthar of Eugene died Feb. 5 of age-related causes. He was 88. No service is planned.

He was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Missouri, to John and Margaret Helliker Witthar. He served in the Army in World War II. He was a millwright.

Survivors include three daughters, Pat of Eugene and Elizabeth and Susan, both of Anchorage; John Witthar obituaries and five grandchildren and several great-grand­children.

Lila Kilgore

Lila Lee Kilgore of Springfield died Feb. 7 of cancer. She was 77. No service is planned. Inurnment will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.

She was born July 29, 1932, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Bud and Ruby Frye Huffman. She married Donald Kilgore on Feb. 3, 1951, in Salem. He died Jan. 13, 1998.

She graduated from University High School in Eugene. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Donald C. Kilgore III; a sister, Dixie Huffman of Springfield; a stepsister, Norma Plummer of Turner; and five grand­children and 10 great-grandchildren.

Geneve Eddington

Geneve “Kitty” Eddington of Eugene died Feb. 8 at age 71. No service is planned. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.

She was born May 8, 1938, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Willie and Tillie Green Mullins. She married Buck Eddington.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tammy Pearce of Eugene; two sons, Tommy Charles Pearce of Washington and Marty Pearce of Red Bluff, Calif.; seven sisters, Mary Von Matre, Peewee Boswell and Rachel England, all of Creswell, Rosie Smith of Texas, Violet Lane of Eugene, Candy of Coburg and Linda Palmer of Junction City; and three brothers, Tommy Mullins of Arizona, and Mural and Levi Mullins, both of Texas.
