He was a proud, stubborn man

With a logical, mechanical mind

Who would not want his memory glossed over

He worked as a Construction Millwright for nearly 20 years

In lumber mills through out Oregon, Washington,

No. California and in Alaska

H e loved & took pride in his family

He enjoyed his Gin & Salem cigarettes

He enjoyed Nascar racing and

He loved animals, especially dogs

No service is planned at this time,

So, for now, I wrote this poem for Mike

You lived as you chose

And you died your own way

You took a piece of my heart

That will never be mended

And left life’s lessons

We learned together thru time

I’m glad your pain has ended

Yet good memories remain

Love always, Karen
