Patricia Mae Thompson Boots

April 27, 2010

A resident of the Springfield area for most of her life, she joined the Lord in heaven on April 23, 2010.  She was 75 years old.

Patricia went to school and graduated at Triangle Lake  in the early 50′s.  She lived on Little Lake Road where she loved riding horses with best friend Dixie.   She started her career as a nurse’s aide at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.  She retired in the mid 90′s at McKenzie-Willamette Hospital, then went into interim care for a couple of years and ended her career at Good Neighbors Care Center.

She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She raised a special friend–a cockatiel named Miss Molly–and loved horses, listening to the rain and eating ice cream in the middle of winter.  Her hobbies include walking in the woods and writing poems.

Patricia is survived by children Cheryl Roynon, Richard Roynon and his wife Benita, Deb Roynon, Barbara Baugh and Dawn DuPret and her husband Jay.  She was a grandma to 17 children and great-grandma to 14 children.

She will be greatly missed but we all know she is happy in heaven with the Lord and her family, eating ice cream and listening to the rain!
