Kenneth Wick

A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at the Firs Bowl in Eugene for Kenneth Ivar “Pa” Wick of Springfield, who died June 18 at age 69.

He was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Erling and Ailie Kunto Wick.

He married Thresea Scoby White on July 22, 1982, in Aberdeen. She died Sept. 10, 2003.

He graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1958. He worked as a drywaller.

Survivors include four daughters, Ryssa Eaton and Lyssa Hogarty, both of Hoquiam, Wash., Kerie Blackburn of Springfield, and Jamie Benner of Alaska; two sisters, Janet Layng of Tacoma and Chris Hull of Astoria; and eight grandchildren.
