Wanda Black

Wanda L. Black of Eugene died July 7 of cancer. She was 78. No service is planned.

She was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Venice, Calif., to Carl and Mary Anderson Feist. She married Lynn Black on May 23, 1954 in Eugene. He died in 1997.

She graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1950 and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Laurie Clithero of Junction City, Leslie McCormick of West Virginia and Lynn Black of Springfield; a stepson, Gary of Oregon; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Kevin, died previously.
