Bonnie Rae Raynor

SPRINGFIELD — Bonnie Rae Raynor of Springfield died Dec. 4 of lung cancer. She was 66. A family service was held Dec. 9.

She was born July 17, 1944, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, to Ione and Howard Roetman. She married John Raynor on Dec. 17, 1980, in Las Vegas. He died Jan. 10, 2006.

A college graduate, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Kyllingstad of Springfield; two sisters, Donna Mclain and Nancy Elliott, both of Eugene; a brother, Dean Elliott of Eugene; and one granddaughter.

Dale Osterman

Dale Alexander Osterman of Eugene died Dec. 5 of congestive heart failure. He was 77. A celebration of life is planned in January.

He was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Ketchikan, Alaska, to Leo and Ana Negolscu Osterman. He and his wife, Aleda, were married July 25, 1957, in Juneau, Alaska.

He graduated from high school and attended four years of college. He served in the military in Germany during the Korean war, from 1953 to 1955. He worked as a high school teacher, an insurance adjuster and a clothing salesman.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Robin Millsaps of Grants Pass, Sheryl Osterman of Portland and Traci Gustafson of Wilsonville; three brothers, Leo of Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, John of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Robert of Springfield; two sisters, Leana Osterman of Lynden, Wash., and Sylvia Gray of Menlo Park, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Catherine S. “Kay” Jones

Catherine S. “Kay” Jones of Eugene died Nov. 30 of age-related causes. She was 86. No service is planned.

She was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Gorden and Margorie Marsh Sanford. She married Jesse Jones in May 1949 in Las Vegas. They were married for 18 years.

She was a high school graduate and attended college for a year. She worked as a school secretary in Big Bear Lake, Calif.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Hansen of Eugene; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Ruby Jazek

CRESWELL — Ruby Jazek of Creswell died Dec. 8 of age-related causes. She was 88. No service is planned. She was born April 16, 1922, in Blackburn, Okla., to Bernard and Pearl McClary Hamrick. She married Everett Jazek on Sept. 21, 1942, in Lodi, Calif. He died May 29, 1974.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Parks of Wilberton, Okla., Laura Hollenhors of Harlowton, Mont., Amy Morse of Kentucky; a son, Keith of Cottage Grove; a sister Hettie Olson of Lodi, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Maurice James Jazek and LeRoy Dean Jazek, died previously.

Rosalie Marie Baughman

SPRINGFIELD — The graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 17, at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene for Rosalie Marie Baughman of Springfield, who died Dec. 15 of age-related causes. She was 84. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon today at Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield.

She was born Nov. 29, 1926, in Cottage Grove.

Survivors include three sons, Stephen of Salem and Curtis and Gregory, both of Springfield; a daughter, Debra Baughman of Springfield; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A son, Gary Lee Baughman, died previously.

Beatrice M. Taylor

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at Oakridge Chapel of the Woods for Beatrice M. Taylor of Eugene, who died Dec. 2 of heart failure. She was 91. A reception will follow the service at the Moose Lodge in Oakridge.

She was born March 16, 1919, in Osier, Mich., to James and Mary LaBombard Burnett. She married Lawrence Taylor on June 9, 1937, in Iron River, Mich. They later divorced.

She graduated from high school and later attended business school at age 60. She was a homemaker and worked as a bartender, owned a restaurant, worked as a millworker, a pipeline server and a BLM timekeeper.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Shorey of Oakridge; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Jean Anderson, died in 2000, and a son, Larry Taylor, died in 2004.
