Mildred Irene Richardson

SPRINGFIELD — Mildred Irene Richardson of Springfield died Jan. 22 of pneumonia. She was 88. No service is planned.

She was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Grant Center, Iowa, to Roy and Goldie Stratton DeForrest. She married Earl Richardson in 1969 in Reno, Nev. He died previously.

She attended Springfield High School and Eugene Business College. She was a secretary for the Rainbow Water District.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Maas of Walterville; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Gary Daniels, died previously.

Arrangements by Andreason’s Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Association or Alzheimer’s Foundation.
