A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at New Hope Christian College in Eugene, for Gary Allen Trucke of Eugene, who died Feb. 22 of pancreatic cancer. He was 67.
He was born April 28, 1944, in Verona, N.D., to Joe and Mabel Semmen Trucke.
He married Annette Jeremiah on Feb. 27, 1982, in Rainer.
He graduated from Seaside High School and attended Clatsop Community College in Astoria for law enforcement certification.
He was the owner and general contractor for Trucke and Lawsen General Contracting LLC.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Josiah, Joseph and Joel, all of Eugene; three daughters, Jaklyn Larsen of Eugene, Jody Ahlstrom of Portland and Sharon Poole of Seaside; five brothers, Leo of Longview, Wash., Don of North Bend, Wayne of Salem, Gil of Lincoln City and Rick of Independence; three sisters, Mavis Brademeyer of Verona, N.D., Joanne Campbell of Winlock, Wash., and Norma Lundberg of Portland; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Trucke, and a grandson, Richard Ahlstrom.
