Alexander M. Hudson Jr (Alex) 85 of North Bend, Oregon passed away peacefully on January 12th at Sacred Heart Hospital in Springfield. Alex was born January 3rd 1941 in Worthington, Minnesota to Alexander McDougal Hudson Sr., and Vivian Inez (Frerking) Hudson.

He met and later married Judy (Koep) Hudson in Lakefield, Minnesota in February 1969. They had three children and later made their home in Windom, where he was a manager at the Toro plant. In his spare time, he enjoyed building engines for the sprint car racing circuit.

In 1984, he and Judy packed up their three children and all their belongings and headed to Oregon in a camper called the “Covered Wagon”. They ended up in the Coos Bay Area where he lived until his death.

After moving to Oregon, he became a real estate broker specializing in commercial real estate. He loved cars and racing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin on Tenmile Lake. His proudest accomplishment was raising three amazing children.

He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years Judy. His daughter Sue Rau (Murray), son Chris (Stephanie) all of Rathdrum Idaho and daughter Jenny (William) of Salem.
