Andrew Kersey

March 25, 1987 — April 23, 2025

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Andrew Thomas Kersey. Born on March 25th, 1987 in Eugene Oregon and died April 23rd, 2025 from cancer.
Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his life, his struggles did not define him. Instead, they highlighted his strength and resilience. I admired his strong, tender, sensitive, and determined heart. Just as Andrew always wanted to feel valued and loved, he also wanted to show everyone around him they were valued and loved.
Andrew enjoyed traveling. He spent 8+ years in New Zealand before settling back in Oregon. His favorite place was Hawaii or on a cruise ship. He loved the sunshine and the ocean. There were so many places we wanted to travel together and though we may never wander those paths together now, the love will always be a part of the journey.
Andrew loved food and was always finding new foods to try or new restaurants to go to, anything from the local food truck for tacos to a fancy steakhouse.
Andrew enjoyed listening to all types of music and singing Karaoke. He communicated best through the music he shared
Lastly, Andrew loved his car. He had a Dodge Charger. Andrew loved to drive fast.. (anyone that has had the pleasure of driving with him knows lol.) He was unable to drive the last year of his life because of his illness and he struggled with that loss of independence. No more speeding tickets, worn out tires or brakes. Race thru the heavens freely and at peace. There are no more speed limits.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Brenda from St. Peter MN, a son, Cole, from Oregon, a daughter, Lana, from Oregon, 4 step-children, 4 grand-children(and one on the way), In-Laws Dennis(Jean) of LeSueur MN, Eva of St. Peter MN, his dad David Kersey (Tricia) of Eugene OR, his mom Aubrey Kersey of Tennessee, Sisters; Holly Jenkins (Michael) of New Zealand, Amelia Holyoake(Dale) of Australia, Camille Kersey of Eugene OR, brothers; Malachi Kersey of Eugene OR, Alec Kersey of Tennessee, his brother-n-law Tim of Wisconsin. Andrew is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews.
I will remember the life you lived. No matter how much time goes by, with every sunrise and sunset, I will remember.
