Arthur “Arty” Dubois, 90, of Cottage Grove, Oregon, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026.

A veteran and self-proclaimed mountain man, Art lived life on his own terms. He served his country, worked as a building inspector in Roseburg, and spent his days hunting, fishing, and capturing the wild with his camera.

Art had a sparkle in his eye and a love for the untamed, often chasing the next adventure by his own rules. He will be remembered by his family and all who knew him for his adventurous spirit and the memories he leaves behind.

A private service will be held at a later date.
