Carol Jean Glenn of Cottage Grove, OR passed away on June 14, 2026 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Rosebud, South Dakota to Alvin and Rose Scissons.

She met and married Quintin David Acosta in the Lodi, CA. Together, they had six children: Crystal Lee Ann (Bernie) Cabanilla, Terry Lynn Acosta, Denny Marie (Michael) Reed, Roberta Jean (Jeff) Hendrickson, Quintin David Acosta, and Thomas Avery Acosta.

She spent the majority of her adult years in the Salinas, CA area. She later married Harold Dean Glenn and was blessed with his two sons that she also loved: Rodger Alan (Cheryl) Glenn and Tracey Dean (Heidi) Glenn.

"Jean" loved all of her children, grandchildren, and every other person and child she met. She treated everyone like family and accepted everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold who passed away just a few months prior to her passing.

Mom, Grandma Cookie is going to be missed by us all.
