Carol Rae Roush, 74, of Springfield, Oregon, passed away on June 29th, 2026.

Carol was born on January 1st, 1952, in Bend, Oregon, to Howard and Mary Towne. She grew up in Oakridge, where she built many memories and made lifelong friends.

Carol dedicated her career to education as a high school English teacher, where she inspired countless students with her passion for literature and language. She was known for her fun loving spirit, kindness, and warmth toward others.

She found great joy in reading, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends, who will remember her for her laughter, creativity, and quick wit.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Gary; her son, Shane; her daughter, Morgan, and her husband David, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her sister, Joyce Towne.

A funeral service will be held at Andreason's Cremation & Burial Services, 320 N 6th Street, Springfield, OR 97477, at 11:00 AM. on Tuesday, July 7th
