Carolyn M. Nielsen of Springfield died Mar. 5. She was 79. She was born in Saginaw, OR to Laura and Charles Williams. She was married to Wayn Nielsen on March 14, 1977.

She is survived by her nieces, Chris and Teresa, and her nephew Jeff, as well as, great nephews, Kyle and Colton, and great nieces, Krystle, Shawnii and Karissa. Her brother, Ron, died previously.
