Charlotte June Cox

Mrs. Charlotte June “Gaba” Cox (Parkerson), age 81, passed away on April 1, 2025, in Springfield, Oregon.

Born on August 20, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona, Charlotte brought her vibrant spirit and boundless energy into the world from the very beginning. Over the course of her life, she became known for her feisty personality and unwavering strength, a true force to be reckoned with.

Charlotte dedicated much of her professional life to serving others in her community. She worked at Springfield Public Schools and later with Springfield Family Practice, where her presence left an impression on colleagues and those she encountered through her work.

Outside of her career, Charlotte embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She found immense pleasure in working in the yard, staying active through exercise, and riding on her and her husband’s Harley Davidson, pursuits that reflected both her vitality and adventurous nature.

More than anything else, Charlotte cherished the time spent with her five children, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Her love for family was evident in every moment shared together. Those who knew her will remember not only her spirited nature but also the warmth and devotion she brought to every relationship.

Charlotte will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort and strength to those she held dear.
