Crystal Loray Mark, 65, passed away on February 19, 2026.

Crystal was born on January 7, 1961, in Eugene, OR to Robert and Marjorie Speck. She was raised in Medford, OR and later returned to the Willamette Valley to raise her family.

Crystal devoted much of her life to serving children and families through her work. She was a bus driver for the McKenzie and Maupin School Districts, a role she truly loved. She took pride in safely transporting generations of students and building connections with the families she saw each day. In addition to driving, she worked in the classroom as a teacher’s aide, where math was her favorite subject. She helped shape many young lives, offering encouragement, patience, and steady guidance to the students she served. Crystal loved classic rock music and cherished time spent with her family. She was well loved by everyone who knew her. Strong-willed, straightforward, and quick with humor, she brought both honesty and laughter into every room she entered.

Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She made sure her daughters and grandchildren always knew they were deeply loved. Her words and encouragement will live on in them forever.

She is survived by her partner, Brian Smith; her daughters, Nicole Mark and Rachele Mark; and her four beloved grandchildren: Tucker King (14), Paige King (10), Piper Young (8), and Reagan Young (6).

Crystal is also survived by her mother, Marjorie Hagen; her sister, Penny Harbick; and her brother, Tony Speck. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Speck, and her brother, Robby Speck.

Crystal will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of life is scheduled for March 28th at 2 PM at the Leaburg Fire Station.
