David John Marrow, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away in his sleep on the evening of May 1st, 2026, due to Dementia related complications. Born on April 12, 1967, in Babylon, NY, David was a drifter who brought laughter and joy into the lives of everyone who met him until he made his home in Eugene.

David was your regular handyman; he would always drop what he was doing to help a friend or family member in need. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and nature watching, and if you ever needed a hand to move some furniture; he was the first to arrive. David had made a career out of learning to fix various machinery and vehicles, so there was always work for him to do. He loved to wake up in the morning, drink coffee, and watch the squirrels play in the trees before starting his day. And as a deeply avid fan of star trek, star gate, and other sci-fi media, the galaxy is mourning an explorer.

David is survived by his sister Kathleen Bootes, his brother Mark Sabin, and his children Johnathan and Cody Scroggins, as well as the mother of his children, Patricia Scroggins. David's love for them will always be felt and missed.
