David Bradley “Brad” Vermeer

March 3, 1971 – August 30, 2026

David Bradley “Brad” Vermeer passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2026, at the age of 55.

Brad was someone who found happiness in the simple things, especially fishing and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. Those who knew him will remember the time spent beside the water, the adventures outside, and the memories made with him along the way.

More than anything, Brad loved his family. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and great-uncle whose presence meant more than words can fully express. His loss leaves an absence that will be deeply felt by the people who loved him.

Brad is survived by his mother, Karen; his sister, Suzanne; his daughter, Aspyn, and granddaughters Eden, Ember, and Aurora; his son, Austyn, and granddaughter Zinnia; his niece, Lacey; and his great-niece, Rhyann.

Brad will be remembered for the love and support he gave to the people in his life, for the memories created outdoors and, on the water, and simply for being someone his family knew they could count on.

His passing came far too soon, and while his family carry the weight of his absence, they will also carry the memories, stories, laughter, and love he left behind.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
