Deseree Marie Skillings

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deseree Marie Skillings, who left this world surrounded by loved ones on July 9, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on December 29, 1977, in Prineville, Oregon, Deseree, "Des" was a loving, kind, and funny soul whose vibrant spirit touched those who knew her.
Des's unwavering dedication to family was at the heart of her life, with her daughter, Nancy, being her greatest joy. She proudly earned an ASOT in Business from Lane Community College and a BS in Legal Studies from National Paralegal College. Des loved fishing and found joy with her friends Deb and Jeanette yelling "Fish On!" She also loved Oregon Ducks Football.
Des is survived by her parents, Dan and Cherie Skillings, her partner, Lisa Jones, her treasured daughter, Nancy Jones, and her siblings, Dawn Skillings, Katie Gillette (Jason), and Aaron Skillings (Erin), her best friend, Ellie, and her dog Dexter. Des was taken too soon and will be sorely missed.
