Donald Frank Savoie

Donald was born in Fort Missoula Mont. on April 30 1931 To Edmond and Leona Savoie moved to Portland in the 6th grade graduated from

Grant High school attended the University of Oregon ended with a BA in business moved back to Eugene in 1962 after Opening The

village Green in Cottage Grove became a partner in Edspit Barbeque Opened The Coburg Inn, Taught 30 years at LCC. Had a TV

series Adventures in Dining with Chef Savoie. My wife Susie and have been married for 28 years Had five children Shari Gallagher

preceded him in death. Robert Savoie, Steven Savoie Kristi Wilson and Kim Franz, Susie Has 2 children Amy Sweeney and Mark Lutz.

As well as many grand, great and great great grandchildren. He was with Delta Rotary for over 44 years and a fund raiser with

the U of O Duck athletic fund for 30 years and also became the fund raiser of the year and was selected as restraunter of the

year in 1965.
