In Loving Memory of Donald Slater
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Slater, who departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Donald was a remarkable man, known for his warmth, wit, and the countless stories he loved to share. He lived a long and full life, rich with experiences and memories that touched everyone who knew him. His presence brought laughter, wisdom, and comfort — and his absence will be deeply felt.
He is survived by his two beloved children, Norman Slater (wife April Slater) and Stephanie Bronson, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Forrest, Rhiannon, Skyler, Gwynneth, and Brooke. Donald is also survived by his three loving sisters: Marty and her husband Jim, Judy, and Dorothy — each of whom held a special place in his heart and shared in the many chapters of his life.
A private family gathering will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to share a story, raise a glass, or simply remember Donald in your own special way — just as he would have wanted.
He will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
