Eric Christiansen

Eric Christiansen, 85, of Eugene, Oregon passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on July 21, 2025. He was born in Portland, Oregon in 1940 to Marjorie and Claude Christiansen and had a sister, Eloise. He earned an AA in Engineering at Devry University in Chicago. He worked for GE briefly before starting a 25 year career at IBM. He married Lynda on April 20, 1963 and they raised 3 children, Janice (Todd), Joan (Mike), and Andrew. He had 4 grandchildren. He loved trains, classic cars, 50s rock and roll, and traveling, especially to the Oregon Coast. He enjoyed a long retirement and spending time with his family. He will be very missed. There are no services currently planned. His family is very grateful for the excellent care and support received from Peace Health Hospice.
