Grace
Ody
May 26, 2005 — Jul 2, 2026
The beautiful Grace Tae Ody left us on July 2nd to be with her Bachan, her mother and her younger brother Teko. While Tae was with us her flare for life never failed to put a smile on our face. Even when that smile was combined with frustration. Tae never wasted a moment of the time she was given. She made sure she lived many lives in the short time she was here. Her sense of humor will forever be the greatest of all time. Her smile and laugh will forever be the ichiban in our hearts. Tae's favorite word to say to her Grandchildren was "Ganbatte" which she defined as "keep going, be strong, do your best and good luck" these words have laid the foundation for the many beautiful grandchildren she left us with to enjoy. T.J, Mathew, Adiyana, Trent, Kalina, Riley, Jordan, Zackery, Ava Tae, Zyonna, Christopher, Avery, Daniel and Jenne and one great granddaughter Brianna. As a mother she showed us that love is strong. She showed us that even when times are hard you should never lose your sense of humor. She shared her love for reading with us all and reminded us that a good book is a beautiful world to get lost in. The simple memory of her perfume, her smile, the earrings she wore or the gohan she cooked, will be the comfort we take in knowing that she loved us. She left behind four children, Terry Jr "Nichan”, Troy "Botato", Trevor "Boogie" and Torrissa Ai "Aichan" (Jesse). She was the oldest sister of four brothers and three sisters, six of them are still with us today to carry on her memory Joe, June, Tom, Steve, Sharon and Gloria (Dan). She left behind many nieces and nephews that she loved unconditionally. She left behind her best friend Lori who she has many amazing memories with and many other friends who will always remember her crazy and wild personality and who she loved. Tae is no longer with us, but her spirit and her laughter will forever be carried with us in our hearts.
