Blue River, Oregon – Loyce Jeannine Henry, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th with her beloved husband Alan Henry.
Jeannine was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 4, 1938, to Gayle John Kral and Dorothy Arlene (Shepherd) Kral. On April 27, 1957, she married George Gregory Luke, with whom she had five children: Kathleen (Luke) Pehanich, Michael Luke, Sharon Luke, Daniel Luke, and Lawrence Luke.
Jeannine was divorced from George in September 1978. Her family grew with the addition of her grandchildren: Jennifer (Pehanich) Celardo, Joseph Pehanich, Melissa (Pehanich) Faron, Jessica (Luke) Thompson, Devon (Luke) McLain, Dante Luke, Braxton Luke, and Bennett Luke, as well as 15 great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Gianna, and David Celardo; Creedence, Jones, and Adeline Pehanich; Rowen, Shae, and Collins McLain; Haley, Everly, and Lilah Thompson; Paige (deceased), Miles and Fay Faron.
In September 1983, Jeannine married Alan David Henry in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Together, they shared a life filled with adventure and love, living in various locations including California, the Yucatán, Tennessee, and Oregon.
Jeannine was a gifted artist with a deep love for music, singing, playing piano, and guitar. Her creative spirit touched the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impression of joy and beauty.
She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Donna (Kral) Boucher, and half-brother Earl Wentworth.
Jeannine's legacy of love, humor, creativity, and family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
