In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John August Poulson of Cottage Grove, OR on February 10, 2026. John was born to John Henry and Maxine Poulson on January 23, 1954. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the cherished memories and lasting impact he made throughout his journey.

John survived by his brothers Wes and Robert, daughter Kerrie (Ira), and brother-in-law Rick. He is preceded in death by his parents John Henry and Maxine Poulson, his son John John, sister Louise, brother Clarence, and daughter Tina.

He leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and two sons.

A celebration of life is scheduled for March 14, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 531 S 10th St, Cottage Grove, OR 97424, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We invite all to remember and celebrate Johns remarkable life, honoring the joy and love he brought to the world. May he rest in peace.
