Laura McKofka

Laura Margaret McKofka passed away on December 5th 2024 at the age of 88. Daughter of John and Hazel Caughell, sister to Janet Cyphert and John Caughell Jr. She was born August 3rd, 1936 in Niagara Falls, New York. She married Edward James McKofka July 3rd, 1954. In 1967 Ed and Laura moved from New York to Oregon with their three daughters Cheryl Erwin, Joy Mathews and Jamie Wilcox. They also had a son Robert McKofka he passed in 1955. They have four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Laura called herself a Domestic Goddess. She enjoyed working around her house, cooking, loved Italian food, camping, bowling, bar bingo and watching the Buffalo Bills and Oregon Ducks football games. She also enjoyed spending time at the Springfield Moose Lodge where Laura and Ed were active members for over 50 years.
