Lavenia (Penny) Mizell Wilson born March 30, 1937 in Pasadena, TX to John Gray and Margaret Jennings died peacefully at Riverbend Medical Center in Springfield, OR on December 26, 2025.

She graduated from St. Helens High School in 1957 shortly after marrying her husband Donald Wilson. She and her husband and (2) children moved from St. Helens, OR to Eugene, OR in 1965 where she lived until her passing. She was socially active and was a member of Cottage Grove Bible Church and the Springfield Elks lodge.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son Terry Wilson (1981) and her husband Donald Wilson (2014). Lavenia (Penny) is survived by her son Darrel Wilson, daughter-in-law Jenneth Wilson, granddaughter Kristen Wilson and her sons Austin and Malcom, grandson Spencer Wilson and his daughter Jaidah.
