Margaret Elizabeth Murphy was born on January 15, 1958, and was adopted at birth by Robert and Frances Murphy, who lovingly raised her. Although named Margaret, she was known as Peggy. When she was two years old, her younger brother, John, and sister, Eileen, were both adopted from separate families.
Peggy grew up on a farm in Beaverton, Oregon, until she was 13, when her family purchased a farm in Prineville, Oregon. Peggy loved all animals, music, and, most of all, her family. Peggy
graduated from High School in 1976, then helped on the farm with the animals and operated the machinery. She loved farming and
also worked a few jobs in town. She married Rodney Sittser on
January 31, 1981. On January 2, 1984, her daughter, Tamaris Lynn, was born, and on August 20, 1985, her second daughter, Dawn Marie, was born. Peggy loved her children and her 4
grandchildren fiercely and was very close to them. She lived in Winston, OR, for several years, then lived in Springfield, OR, for the last two years.
Peggy had a zest for life and embraced everything she did. She was involved in Girl Scouts, 4-H, choir, Grange, Garden Club, and played the violin. In her later years, she struggled with several
illnesses and sadly succumbed to them on March 28, 2025, at the age of 67. She is dearly missed by her siblings, children, and
grandchildren, but we know that she is out of pain, no more tears, and she is with her beloved parents. We will see her again!
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. Revelation 21:4
