Marilyn Schaaf, 83, of Springfield, OR, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026 in her home.

Marilyn was born on December 31st, 1942 in Devil's Lake, North Dakota to Leo Otto and Dorothy Halverson. She grew up in South Eugene and attended South Eugene High School.

Marilyn married Del Schaaf on June 10th, 1961, and together they had 3 sons.

She will be forever remembered for her warmth and unwavering love and support for her family.

Marilyn is survived by 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and her friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, husband, and her youngest son.

A gathering will be held on August 13th, 2026, at 1pm Oakhill Cemetery.

Marilyn will forever live in our hearts as an amazing friend, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family and friends meant the most to her in life and she always wanted those around her to succeed and be happy.
