Ronald Taggart York, age 46, of Dorena, Oregon, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2025.
Born on January 26, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ronald grew up with a deep love for the outdoors. He found happiness in fishing, hiking, playing disc golf, and spending time with his loyal dogs. More than anything, he cherished being a father and grandfather—his children and granddaughter were the light of his life and his greatest pride.
Ronald will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his kind heart, and the way he made life brighter for those he loved. He is survived by his daughter Savannah and granddaughter Henley; his son Tiernann, shared with Danyel Stealey; his parents, Margaret and Steve York; his girlfriend, Katie Bruington; along with many others whose lives he touched and shared.
A memorial service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held in Eugene on November 1, 2025.
