Sandra Kay Longton, 83, of Eugene, OR passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday. 9/29/2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Sandra was born on May 19, 1943 in Baldwin, WI to Kenneth and Mercedes Longton. The family moved to Sutherlin, OR in 1950. Sandra moved to Portland with her mother in 1958. She graduated from Jefferson HS in 1961 and was then employed by Ameron International until the Portland facility closed in 1999. Sandra then relocated to Springfield, OR in 1999 and worked for Kendall Auto Group-Admin Offices as an Accounting Assistant in Cash Management. She retired from Kendall Auto Group in 2010 after working in the accounting field for 39 years.

Sandra enjoyed her many travels around the US on Historical Explorations and visiting National Parks as well as many family gatherings. She also loved flower gardening, reading, baking and spending time with family and friends. Sandra was an active member of Twin Rivers Baptist Church and had great joy working in the Church’s library for many years.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Jerry and Tom. Surviving are her sister Mary, brother Robert (Bob) and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and even a few great great nieces and nephews. Although Sandra never married or had children her life was very blessed and fulfilled by her family, many friends and church affiliation.

Per Sandra’s wishes she will be cremated and placed in a niche at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
