Stephanie Mobley
May 7, 1963 – January 14, 2026
Stephanie Mobley, 62, of Eugene, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, surrounded by her family after a long and courageous journey through illness.
Born in Pennsylvania, Stephanie made Eugene her home for almost fifty years. She attended South Eugene High School, Lane Community College, and the University of Oregon. Stephanie worked in a variety of roles before health challenges led to permanent disability. Through every season of her life, she remained grounded in kindness and quiet strength.
Stephanie had a gift for noticing others. She checked in often, offering encouragement, humor, and a reminder of each person’s worth. Even as her illnesses progressed, she faced them with remarkable courage and a determination to hold on to dignity and grace. She loved to laugh, and she delighted in bringing smiles to the people around her.
Animals—especially dogs and other small companions—were a constant source of comfort and joy in her life. Their presence reflected the gentleness and loyalty she extended so freely to others.
Stephanie is survived by her husband of more than forty years, Ryan Mobley; her mother, June Pajerski of Pennsylvania; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Alf Siddall of Portland.
A small gathering of family and friends may be held at a later date to honor her life.
Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the COPD Foundation (https://www.copdfoundation.org/) or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (https://www.aspca.org/).
