With heavy hearts and infinite love, we remember and celebrate the life of Valarie Ann — a woman who was the epitome of true strength, who loved deeply, and gave her whole heart to the people she held close.
Her greatest love in this life was her daughter, Cheyenne — her heart, her pride, her purpose. She cherished their bond and was so proud of her and she leaves a piece of her with us through her.
She was also loved by her partner of over 20 years, Mannual, who never threw in the towel and stood beside her in sickness and health.
She is missed by her stepfather Pete, who will have a ham waiting for her when they meet again. Vallareeno's faith in God is rejoiced!
And to her sister Ash the Bash, Valarie was the best human in the world. Val was her hero and inspiration in life through all chapters. She loved her with her whole heart and felt so blessed she was chosen to be her little seester.
Valarie had a soft spot for the ones who needed love most — both people and animals alike - especially her cats, were loved like family.
She loved the little joys that made life sweet — a favorite song playing loud, a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, working and managing her stores, stopping at a local bar, the laughter of loved ones, holidays, and a night filled with good times and even better company. She loved putting her toes in the water, her garden, had the best laugh and hugs known to mankind and enjoyed the memories she made with family and her friends, who she was grateful for in all stages on her life. She made a mean pecan pie and potato salad, enjoyed her time on the porch, watching a good movie, road trips to see Aunt Jo, and any time spent with her people. She never asked for much — just honesty and love. And in return, she gave everything she had.
Now, Valarie is reunited with her loving mother Helyn Faye (who is surely celebrating from the rooftops of heaven at being together again), and grandparents as well as her father Bob Karroll, surrounded once again by love and peace. And though we are heartbroken to let her go, we know she is free with her spirit wild and big heart, just as she was always meant to be.
Her absence is everywhere, yet her presence will forever live on in the music we hear, the love we share, and the memories we carry forward. Saying she is missed doesn't give the void she left enough justice. But she also left an equally large legacy.
Valarie leaves a legacy of unconditional love that encourages us to never settle for less than the love she showered us with. She lived life on her terms which consisted of being unapologetically herself, always chasing joy and love, and never stopped believing in the beautiful parts of life. Valarie was the definition of a rare, beautiful soul and we hope everyone remembers to find a reason to love and laugh every day in her honor.
Valarie Ann, thank you for loving us the way you did — with everything you had. We’ll carry you with us always and can't wait to meet again.
