Victoria “Vicki” Lee Travis

November 11, 1942 – October 24, 2025

Victoria “Vicki” Lee Travis, 82, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. She was born on November 11, 1942, in Compton, California, to Julia Mary Magusen and Frank Burton Travis.

Vicki grew up surrounded by the animals she loved most — her horses and dogs — a passion that stayed with her throughout her life.

She later married Richard H. Rosenbohm, and together they raised five children. Though she endured the heartbreaking loss of her twins, Richard H. Rosenbohm Jr. and Heidi Rosenbohm, she continued to pour her love and strength into her surviving children: Richard H. Travis, Brenda Hansen (spouse Dale, son Spencer), and Frank Travis (daughters Jayden R. Travis, Torrence J. Travis, and Ashton G. Travis). Vicki and Richard later divorced, but she remained devoted to her family throughout her life.

Vicki was a woman of many talents and hard work, holding roles in several fields over the years — from butcher, daycare provider, and house cleaner to Photo ID Manager at the University of Oregon and front desk attendant at the Willamalane Pool. Wherever she worked, she greeted everyone with her bright smile and kind spirit.

A lover of the outdoors, Vicki found joy in gardening, raising dogs and chickens, and being active in her church community. She especially enjoyed sharing fresh produce from her garden with neighbors and friends.

Vicki’s generosity, warmth, and love for life will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

No service is planned. To honor Vicki’s memory, please consider donating to your local food bank or animal rescue.
